In this lecture, we will continue our initial discussion about 'pictures' of IR and the problems and issues of Global Politics. What can we learn through starting with questions about global politics? What can the use of Ilustrative examples help us see (and not see)? What are some of the different ways that can enable us to respond to (painful, difficult) realities of the world? What assumptions do we start from? What pictures of the world do we see/produce/reproduce? How can we read the different texts of Global politics? How do ethics and politics interrelate? What does it mean to think critically?
