Wednesday 26/4: Climate adaptation and finance in 203 (Rikard Warlenius)

Financing climate adaptation is one of the most contentious issues in the international climate negotiations, since it involves large sums of money but also ethical and political aspects. Who has the obligation to provide finance? How can we make sure that finance is “additional” to previously promised aid? How can new sources of finance be established? What about tax havens, currency transaction taxes, global taxes etc?
