IR1233 H23 Global and Regional Governance, 7,5 hp

The course is held between 2 November and 4 December 2022. The take home exam should be submitted by 1 December.

Finding your way around the University

Course introduction: Wednesday, 2 November, at 10:15-12:00 in room AS 220 with Fredrik Söderbaum. It is important to attend the course introduction. The first full lecture will be held the day after, 3 November.

Message from the course coordinators:

The course is coordinated jointly by Fred Söderbaum and Kilian Spandler, and we have divided the lectures in roughly equal shares (while Kilian is responsible for the group work).

Make sure to check the reading list before the course starts. Read all the mandatory literature according to the reading instructions on the individual lecture pages. This should be possible if you plan your readings carefully. There is a lot to read during the first two weeks of the course, so you should begin reading immediately. The reading burden gets lighter towards the end of the course. For those who want to delve deeper into certain topics, there are recommended readings on the lecture pages as well.

We don't use a textbook on this course but rely on selected articles and chapters. You should be able to access most of them via the University Library. Those texts that are harder to access (some chapters) will be uploaded on the respective lecture pages (see Modules).

For the course schedule, please refer to the information in TimeEdit (see below). The dates and times for the sessions are not added in the Canvas modules to avoid confusion in case of late changes. If we need to make any changes to the schedule, we will communicate those via an announcement on Canvas Announcement and TimeEdit will be updated as soon as possible by the student administration.
