To apply for study support, contact the coordinators for Study Support. If you are granted this, post or bring your Nais certificate and book an initial meeting with the student counsellor Eva Nilsson. You do not need to mention any details about your case when booking. Details you enter can possibly be read by outsiders as they are not encrypted.

To apply for study support or adjusted examination, we recommend that you fill in the form that applies to your course. You can apply for support/adjustments for all courses during the academic year at once. Please take the opportunity to apply when you hand in your Nais certificate to your study counsellor. Forms for each course are available on the department's pages on the Student Portal.

For those who have already met with the study counsellor and submitted the Nais certificate: you submit the form for the application for support/adjustment in your course(s) either by mail to the study counsellor or in a mailbox at the Department of Political Science, floor 4. You can also email it to studentcounselling@pol.gu.se but then we cannot guarantee that your personal data is safe from being read by outsiders. You will then receive a de-identified confirmation of your application. You submit the form at least four weeks before the examination or as soon as possible. If it arrives later than 4 weeks before the exam, we cannot guarantee that you will receive any adjustments in time.

Sensitive personal data

Please note that we have to handle the application, processing and decisions based on the fact that the Nais certificate, study support and adjusted examination are considered sensitive personal data. We have no means of communicating about sensitive personal information that is secure beyond physical mail, phone calls and meetings. However, you as a private individual are free to do what you want with your personal data. This means that you can choose to email us Nais certificates and forms. However, we cannot guarantee that they cannot be read by outsiders and we may not communicate with you about Nais certificates or adjustments in e-mail.
