Communicating Computer Science

In this course you will learn how to give presentations and how to read and write technical articles. You will learn mainly by doing, i.e. you will be giving presentations and writing throughout the course. (Note: the presentations will be in small groups, not in front of the whole class!)

Weekly schedule

The course consists of lectures and group meetings.

Lectures. There will be one lecture per week, on Tuesdays at 13:15-15. The lecture room changes every week. Check TimeEdit for details.
Group meetings. You will also attend a group meeting once per week, with 6-8 students and a mentor. At the beginning of the course, we will send out a survey, where you can say what meeting time works for you. You can choose from the following meeting times: Thursdays (8-10, 10-12, 13-15, or 15-17), Fridays (8-10, 10-12, 13-15, or 15-17).

There will also be assignments throughout the course. Most assignments will be due on Tuesdays or Fridays.
