The course is held between February 19 2021 - March 24 2021.
Pls have a look around at the course modules, pages and so on. On Monday, February 22 at 13.00 local time Gothenburg (CET +1) we will get together to present ourselves and discuss the interest regarding urbanisation and global cities.
Pls begin reading the course syllabus, including the learning outcomes, the Course content and structure (see Pages to the left), and the PM instructions (see Assignments to the left) in time, and before the first course meeting on Monday 22, see below. The documents sets the agenda for the course content and our upcoming activities.
To content is structured in modules with pre-recorded lectures, start to follow them and begin reading and studying. Get acquainted with Canvas and the resources available at ub.gu.se. You may access the university e-library through the Student Portal, se below and get excellent help at: To use the library from a distance and, To search, read and write. You will find lots of help with organizing and writing a text, for instance. Do not miss the great opportunity to improve your skills! There are also language help, tutorials, the e-library and the librarians.
Then, decide on a global city that you will study during the course.
If you look at FILES, in the meny to the left you will find relevant articles and some old lectures.
You will have time to make questions when we meet.

Schedule
The course begins on Feb 19 and ends on March 24, 2021 with the submission of the final home exam.
Pls note, the course does not include any online or Zoom lectures. It is an online reading course, with pre-recorded lectures, see Module 1-5.
A number of course meetings will be held and the first meeting is on Monday March 3 at 13.00 local time Gothenburg, CET +1.
It is a full time course, pls start reading and studying at once, because you will need the time to finish up the course. The first assignment is the PM 2,5 points. See info to the left under Assignments, pls follow the instructions carefully.
The course convener will read, comment and grade your assignments.
