The course covers ore deposit types and the processes shaping them. Swedish case studies are examined in lab and field. The formation of world-class mine fields abroad are showcased and analyzed through scientific literature and exploration reports. Study visits to mines and companies are planned. 

The course will encompass project work in groups including components of lab work and field work. Regular meetings discussing theoretical and practical aspects organize and aid project progression.
