Welcome to the second year of the Embedded Design Master!
We hope you have had a nice summer and that you are looking forward to exploring embedded design further in this course Engaging in an embedded design practice (EMD31A).
The first day, August 30 is scheduled accordingly:

General course info
-Get acquainted with the course plan, which can be found in the, syllabus database. You can also find the English version here: Course plan in English EMD31A, and the Swedish version here: Svensk kursplan EMD31A
-We will use the Canvas Calendar for this course. You can, as before also find the schedule by searching on the course name or course code in TimeEdit. (Links to an external site.) Keep in mind that the TimeEdit version may not be updated regularly and that the calendar in Canvas contains more information (e.g. zoom links). Also, note that the course schedule is preliminary up to two weeks before the course starts!
-You can find the literare list under the module called General information about the course. You can also find it by searching on the course name or course code in the syllabus database via the Student Portal.
- As we are still affected by the pandemic, keep in mind that there may be alterations in the schedule regarding the location of activities (e.g from zoom to meetings on school premises, or from school premises to zoom, depending on the current situation).

Register for your courses for enrollment
To be considered a student, you must be registered on your course. You must also be registered to be able access all course material published in Canvas. You can register the week before the start of the course via Ladok services. If you have problems with the registration or questions about your studies please contact admission@hdk-valand.gu.se.
