Course syllabus
The course is held between 17 January - 23 March 2022.
Due to the new covid-19 restrictions, the course is given ONLY in online format (on Zoom) from 17 January - 18 February (this may be extended till the end of the course, depending on the Covid situation). Zoom links for each lecture/activity can be found with the description of each of them, under Modules. Please ignore information on the Schedule page covering the online teaching period (17 January - 18 February). Also please ignore the Schedule page if the information conflicts with what is written under MODULES (description of each class).

Course introduction: Welcome to the 2022 edition of our course on the theory and practice relating to gender and global development!
Message from the course coordinator: Please read carefully the Canvas course page. Make sure you search for and read information on Canvas before contacting course coordinators (independence is an important skill to develop and sharpen later on in your work life too!). Keep yourself updated throughout the course - make sure to always read 'Announcements' posted on Canvas. And remember to enjoy and have fun while actively engaging in the course! ;-)

About Canvas and the Student Portal
Link to schedule, syllabus and reading list will be published here at the syllabus page before the course starts. You will access the other pages once you have registered for the course. Most courses will use the function Modules to navigate the course content. For information on how to use Canvas, please look at the Canvas guides or contact Servicecenter for support.

Online Teaching
Due to the changing Covid situation, online teaching will be used at least in the first part of the course (see above, paragraph in green for details). Download and get acquainted with Zoom early on in the course, according to the instructions here: https://studentportal.gu.se/english/e-services/zoom
If you have the need to record a lecture you need to ask the teacher and fellow students for permission. It is up to each teacher to decide if their Zoom lecture should be recorded and available afterwards.
