The University is going back to campus-based teaching and the course was originally planned to be given on campus as normal; however, due to the intensified Covid-19 spread in society, we are following the GU recommendations and initially shift to distance based teaching. This means that first two weeks of the course will be fully distance based. Thereafter a new decision for the rest of the course will follow.

Course start and registration

Roll call and introduction (obligatory) Monday 17th of January at 9.00 (on Zoom https://gu-se.zoom.us/j/65833077490  )

Contact study councellor (svlkemi@cmb.gu.se) if you cannot attend the introduction day.

The whole course content will be accessible on Canvas after the registration.

The students are required to register for the course through the student portal - Ladok one week before the course start. The student list will be confirmed and updated during the introduction day.

Presentations from the lectures and other distributed material will be available on Canvas in Modules.

Language

Since the course welcomes also international students, the course will be given in English.

Examination

To pass the course the student is required to fulfill following requirements: 

  • Attendance on at least 80% of the scheduled classes (lectures/seminars)
  • Attendance and active participation in the obligatory seminar:
    • Thu 20/01 09.00 - 15.45
  • Passing grade on the group and individual project work. Scheduled:
    • Wednesday 26/01 9.00 - 12.00 (group project)
    • Thursday 10/02 9.00 - 15.45  (individual project)
  • Passing grade on the written exam:
    • Will take place on Canvas, Thursday 17/02  8.30 - 14.30
    • Obligatory registration!
