Welcome to the PhD course "AI for Earth and Environmental Sciences". Your main links will be the schedule on this page, Discussion, and the Modules which will organize and provide all the course material. Please have a look at the Modules even before the course has started.

Under Modules you will find some instructions for actions to take before the course begins, as well as information on Python tutorials, if you do not have a background in Python scripting that will be needed for some exercises in the course. Please note that the Canvas page is under construction up until the day the course begins.

NEW NOTE: Due to the spread of Covid, we will conduct the remainder of the course 7-11 + 17 February via Zoom, and not in person. This is also true for the final presentation on Feb 17 - it will be by zoom. Unfortunately.
