IR1232 H22 Advanced Studies in Global Political Economy 7,5 hp

Welcome to Advanced Studies in Global Political Economy,

The global political economy is changing rapidly, and needs to change even faster as we need to handle and solve planetary problems and conflicts. This is the theme of the course. During this month, you will write a short academic essay on a current GPE issue, discuss current concepts and theories, and engage in today’s GPE research.

To pass the course you write and present one essay and attend four mandatory ‘journal clubs’, in one of which you present and analyse a recent journal article. See instructions for the journal clubs. Detailed essay instructions will be posted one week before the course ends, but nothing stops you from thinking about the theme of the essay right now.

The course runs 30 September 2022 - 1 november 2022
