Welcome to the Bioinformatics 1 course

The course :

• Is 100% online, no physical presence needed at the university
• Contains a combination of lectures and practical sessions that will introduce you to biological databases and web-based tools
• Covers essential concepts in sequence analysis, protein expression, pathway analysis and reproducibility

R will be introduced to perform basic analysis and visualization of proteomic analysis. (no prior knowledge is needed)

You are expected to spend time of your own to complete the assignments (self-studies)

Participants are required to bring their own computer with the corresponding administrator rights

To pass the course you need to attend at least 80% of the session (extra activities can be provided to compensate for missed session) and complete all practicals at the stated deadlines
