Information from your teacher
Hello! FRAKK1 is your first Contextualisation Course which runs in the Fall semester 2022. General information regarding start up week is available on the FRAKP1 (practice course) canvas page.

Dr. Daniel Jewesbury will also be teaching on the course.
The course aims to introduce you to concepts and theories of Publicness, as well as help you to develop academic writing skills.
This canvas page primarily uses two tabs out of the left hand tool bar: Modules and Assignments.
On the Modules tab, you will see that each week (Sweden often uses week numbers rather than dates!) has its own page, and you can click and see what is happening each week. This is the most up to date information.
The Assignments tab shows the assignments you have to do for the course and how and when you have to submit them.
The Course Evaluations tab is also used at the end of the course where you are asked to fill an anonymous form about your experience of taking the course. This helps us develop it for the next iteration. You will be told when that form is made available to complete.
Student Portal
The University's Student Portal gathers information and services for you as a student and you will find
information that is specific to students at HDK-Valand – Academy of Art and Design.
Register for your courses
Don´t forget to register for the course i Ladok services. Registration opens one week before the start of course. You must also be registered to be able access all course material published in Canvas.

Note that the course schedule is preliminary up to two weeks before the course starts.
