Course syllabus

Welcome back to your degree project year!

Now it's finally time for you to dig really really deep into something that matters for you and our dear planet. This is a year when you can create a really good foundation for your future professional design practice; this is a year when you can play your specific role in the great task of shifting destructive narratives.

During the first semester you will move and grow through two intertwined courses: "Engaging in the Design Discourse" (DM6DIS), and "Preparation for Degree Project" (DM22PP). The second semester of the degree project year contains the course "Contributing to the Design Discourse" (DM8CNT).

Together we will try to create a learning context where trust is key, and where you can also embrace getting a bit messy and lost.

information that is specific to students at HDK-Valand – Academy of Art and Design.

Register for your courses

Don´t forget to register for the course i Ladok services. Registration opens one week before the start of course. You must also be registered to be able access all course material published in Canvas.
