Course syllabus
Welcome to the second year of the Embedded Design Master!
We hope you have had a nice summer and that you are looking forward to exploring embedded design further in this course Engaging in an embedded design practice (EMD31A).
The first couple of days of the semester are scheduled accordingly;
Monday August 29
Morning: Take the opportunity to spend this morning getting acquainted with the course via the information available on Canvas.
13:00-16:00 Joint gathering with program teachers and 1st year students in room 619 (with teacher presentations etc.). This is an optional gathering for you, and a good opportunity to meet with the first year students.
Tuesday August 30
10:00-12:00 Course introduction in room 619. Here we will also introduce you to the course Preparation for an independent in-depth study in design (EMD32A), which will run in parallel.
13:00-16:00 Introduction to the first assignment in room 501.
Wednesday August 31
13:00-16:00 Inspirational talk with Haris Kadic, service designer at Kungsbaka municipality and David Joelsson, business designer at Humblebee. We will meed in room 206B

-Get acquainted with the course plan, which can be found in English and Swedish here.
-We will use the Canvas Calendar for this course. You can, as before also find the schedule by searching on the course name or course code in TimeEdit. Keep in mind that the TimeEdit version is not updated regularly and that the calendar in Canvas contains more information. Also, note that the course schedule is preliminary up to two weeks before the course starts!

Register for your courses
Don´t forget to register for the course i Ladok services. Registration opens one week before the start of course. You must also be registered to be able access all course material published in Canvas.
