Welcome to GVG330 Applied Geology (Tillämpad geologi), 7,5 hp, vt23
It's going to be a blast seeing you all at the first day of the course, the 17th of February. Until then i'll get your course material sorted and put on Canvas. We will not have a regular text book, instead literature will be based on hand books, reports and scientific papers. This is inline with course goals (i.e. getting you guys ready for professional careers within the earth science field). Focus will be on Swedish and Nordic conditions and ways of work. Some literature and course content (e.g. guest lectures) will be in Swedish but there are ways to still follow the course. Everybody is welcome!
Generally, if there's questions - Eric H have an easier time explaining rocks and associated topics while Martin is more into geotechnical/sedimentological and groundwater aspects of geology.
