Dear participants,

please come to the first meeting on Monday (August 28), starting at 14:00. We will meet in room 3227 (Berg) in the new building Natrium. One of the most important items is to discuss the field trips that are essential parts of the course. Unfortunately it depends on the number of participants, so planning ahead is difficult. But the ideal plan is to have two big field trips (5 days each), one to the Tjärnö research station and one to the Bergslagen area. To state it in a different way: the current schema is NOT the actual schema.

Koster dikes, Ursholmen. We will spend one day on Ursholmen island, Koster archipelago.

Accretionary lapilli, Gyttorp, Bergslagen area. In some areas, exceptionallay preserved textures are visible, revealing a varied, rich history of the region.
