We are looking forward to spend some time with you introducing and discussing the aquaculture scene in Iceland.

We will first spend a bit of time on the logistic for the on-site week in Iceland.

Then we start with an introduction of who we are, and what is the environment we work in at Hólar University. We dive into the past to understand better the present of fish farming in Iceland, and its ongoing development. We explore the future avenues of fish farming and marine products. We end our recorded lectures of the morning with a local example of aquaponic in rural Iceland.
