Norway trip week 35!

IMPORTANT REMINDERS TO YOU TAKING THIS CLASS!!

1. WE MEET ON FRIDAY THE 25TH IN THE MORNING 10:00 (this lecture is NOT at Geovetarcentrum and it is NOT at Natrium, but at 2256R Sandberg, Medicinaregatan 7. The purpose of this lecture is to (1) discuss logistics for the Norway trip and plan food groups and (2) get an introduction to the earth science of Norway.  I have decided we do not need to meet in the afternoon slot; I will discuss Norway earth science in the morning.

2. For the Norway excursion, we leave from Geovetarcentrum at 7:00 AM, Monday 28th. (TimeEdit say 8:00, but we leave at 7:00)

3. You will receive a guide for the field trip.

4. In pairs, you will have the responsibility to present a topic/place we experience in Norway. You will present it as a PPT the second week of the course.

5. Field trip info: 

a. You pay for all food; the department pays for lodging. Bring lunch on the first day! We will shop for food everyday.

b. You pay 200 SEK per night (=800 SEK). Payment before course ends (or no grade)

c. We will have hiking in places strenuous, but not difficult. Please bring appropriate shoes. Be prepared for rain. It can be cool on the glacier--gloves, mösse, I usually bring långcalsonger (but usually don't wear them)

d. Don't forget medicine, lakan, handduk

Observera att schemat är preliminärt t.o.m. två veckor innan kursstart.
