Studying at a university is an exciting time in life and we are delighted to have you as part of our vibrant academic community. As you embark on your university journey, you will experience the excitement of immersing yourself in a diverse cultural environment where ideas and perspectives converge.

In all our Master’s programmes at the School of Business, Economics and Law, we highly value the international classroom, recognizing the immense learning potential it offers. We encourage you to collaborate and engage with fellow students from different backgrounds, as this will broaden your knowledge and understanding of the subjects we explore within our programmes.

Effective cooperation within diverse groups and the completion of various tasks are integral aspects of your academic experience. However, it is important to acknowledge that working with individuals from different experiences and cultures can present unique challenges.

To ensure your success, we have developed a comprehensive program called Master Your Master's (M.Y.M). This program provides invaluable and essential information on academic writing, referencing, citation practices, working effectively in groups, and acquaints you with Swedish study culture and society.

M.Y.M includes a range of resources such as links, films, and reading tips. Furthermore, we invite you to a workshop scheduled for Thursday the 7th of  September 2023, from 15:15 to 18:00, taking place in Malmstenssalen at the School of Business, Economics and Law. This workshop is particularly designed for students who have not previously studied at a Swedish university or have been away from academia for several years. However, we extend a warm welcome to all students, as everyone can benefit from participating.

As a commitment to maintaining Academic Integrity, we kindly request that all students submit a signed Letter of Agreement. This letter confirms that you have familiarized yourself with the University rules and regulations, including the course "Academic Integrity at the Graduate School." By adhering to these principles, you contribute to creating an ethical academic environment that fosters trust, respect, and fairness. Find information about the Letter of Agreement and Academic Integrity under "Modules".

Once again, we extend our warmest welcome and wish you a fulfilling and successful academic journey. We are here to support you along the way and look forward to witnessing your growth and achievements.

All Master Your Master’s material can be found under ”Modules” on this Canvas page.
