Dear students!

The course will be introduced in detail on Tuesday 2nd of April at 09.00 in room 310.

•

The course consists of a series of exercises with different focuses on the practice of mediating design.

Each exercise address different formats and situations with the aim of understanding what these formats and situations enable in relation to mediation of design. The focus is on testing and experimenting. The course also pay attention to how design practices are documented and organized in order to be communicated and disseminated. How does an organization of design materials format how it can be accessed, used and shared?

The exhibition should in this course be understood as a collection of designed formats that enable mediation of design. The course is foremost concerned with exhibitions that mediate design practice. Exhibitions are often a collection of formats that together mediate ideas etc. In this course we work on and with some of these formats in order to understand what experience, knowledge and learning they produce in relation to practice.

The course will furthermore enable students to reflect on their studies and the work they have undertaken so far. It is important for students to identify how their work is progressing in order to recognize and develop their practices moving forward.
