Information from your teacher

Welcome to the last course of the Embedded Design Master!

Now it is time for you all to start the ending of your study at the master’s program Embedded Design at HDK-Valand. This by entering the last course Master's Degree Project in Design with Specialisation in Embedded Design, (EMD41A).

The first day, January 15 is scheduled accordingly:

13:00-15:00 Course introductions in room 310

Together we make a walk thru of the course content, construction, learning outcomes, expectations and important dates.

In the course, the student plans and carries out an independent in-depth subject study in the form of a Master's degree project in design.

Each student receives an assigned supervisor who accompanies the student throughout the project. The planning of the tutoring is a discussion and agreement between the student and supervisor. 

The main layout of the course is built on three reviews, two reviews during the project and a final review at the end. In addition, each student needs to write an Academic Article which becomes an contribution to the field of ​​Embedded Design.

Register for your courses

Do not forget to sign up for the course in Ladok, registration period opens one week before course start. You must also be registered to be able access all course material published in Canvas.

Note that the course schedule is preliminary up to two weeks before the course starts.
