Information from your teacher:
Welcome to KHMP20 Craft and the Public, 7.5 Credits.
Course responsible is me, Åsa Dybwad Norman, senior lecturer at Textile Department. Examiner is also me Åsa Dybwad Norman. asa.dybwad.norman@gu.se
During this last course of your first MA-year we will go through different aspects of producing a group exhibition, we will learn through making and the course will end with an exhibition at Galleri Box here in Gothenburg. We will also do a field trip to The Textile Museum in Borås and to Gathenhielmska huset in Gothenburg. The course give examples on how crafted objects, experiences and knowledge can be visible and interpreted in different public places.
The course starts in week 17, Tuesday April 23, 10.00-16.00 in room 338, Stora hörsalen

-Maryam Fanni, Doctoral student in Design, HDK-Valand Academy of Art and Design, University of Gothenburg.
-Charlotta Eidenskog, Ceramic artist, and curator who works at Konstepidemin and she a long curatorial experience.
-Khaled ElSamman Ahmed, Coordinator for marketing and public meetings at Gatenhielmska Huset in Gothenburg. Khaled specializes and works with cultural heritage. He holds a master's degree in international heritage management from Durham University in the UK
-Onkar Kular, is Professor of Design Interventions at HDK Valand, Academy of Art & Design at the University of Gothenburg.
-Jennifer Forsberg, Ceramic artist and program manager of the MA-program in Craft, at HDK Valand, Academy of Art & Design at the University of Gothenburg.
-Johannes Daun, Historian and 1st antiquary at The Swedish Museum of Textiles in Borås
-Gustav Lejelind, Artist and curator, based in Gothenburg. Gustav is also an employee at Galleri Box.
