Welcome to BIO001!
BIO001 The Problem of Antibiotic Resistance
Format
This course will have 12 sets of recorded lectures recorded over 6 sessions. The lectures will be all the available on Canvas on June 9. The topics for each lecture are listed below followed by a brief description. Please note, subtitles are available for all videos (just click on 'CC' in the bottom right corner of the videos).
There are no mandatory meetings in this course!
Examination:
The course is graded Pass/Fail (G/U). There will be a short quiz for 10 of the lectures. You can only answer the quiz once but you can re-watch the videos as often as you like. You need to get an average of 60% on all quizzes (10 quizzes in total). Note, you do not need 60% on every quiz, but rather you need to get an average score of all quizzes of 60%. If you do not reach this, you will have the opportunity to redo the quizzes in September when the course has ended.
In addition, each quiz will have one question that simply checks whether you watched/listened to the video and a correct answer is required to pass the quiz. (For example, what did the teacher drop during the lecture? or What color shirt was the teacher wearing?)
Grades will be reported the last week of August.
