WELCOME to the course Degree Project for Master in Sea and Society MAR480 (30 credits) and MAR481 (45 credits)

Start date 2 September (MAR480)

4 June: Deadline to submit your thesis topic/theme

26 August: Deadline to upload your preliminary project idea under assignments on Canvas

2 September: Start of the autumn semester 2024 and your master's thesis

16 September, 23:59. Deadline for uploading both parts of the "Individual Project Plan" on Canvas, under Assignments (upload both the cover page and actual project plan). Your examiner will read and approve the plan (and communicate any comments to you and the supervisor(s)).

9 January, 09:00: Deadline to hand in thesis via Canvas.

16 January: Oral presentation. Time and place TBA

Start date 5 November (MAR481)

29 October: Deadline to upload your preliminary project idea under assignments on Canvas

19 November, 23:59. Deadline for uploading both parts of the "Individual Project Plan" on Canvas, under Assignments (upload both the cover page and actual project plan). Your examiner will read and approve the plan (and communicate any comments to you and the supervisor(s)).

29 May, 09:00: Deadline to hand in thesis via Canvas.

4-5 June: Oral presentation. Time and place TBA
