Information about your course

Dear all,

Welcome to the course "Preparation for an Independent In-Depth Study in Design" 7.5 credits, also called "The Bridge Course"

This course runs in parallel with EMD31A and has a separate schedule seen in the Canvas calendar and further information is given at the EMD31A course introduction. The main objective of the EMD32A course is for you to identify, describe and prepare your MFA thesis project in spring 2025 and is assessed thru a written and submitted project brief. One central part is to find, craft and define your research question, something we will support each other in during both courses.

The parallel part named "Design Research Strand" is a common activity between our three MFA programs in design. There is no reading or submissions, just for you to take part at the scheduled hours.  It will be activated during three two-days session following dates, 16-17/9, 14-15/10 and 18-19/11. More information and schedule in Canvas will come.
