Course syllabus


Overview

The course teaches the basics of how regression analysis can be used to analyse the relationships between two or more variables in order to describe, draw conclusions about causation, and make predictions. The course focuses on practically applicable skills, on practice through computer analysis of real data materials, and on understanding the limitations of statistical methods.

The course builds on basic statistical knowledge. Students are strongly recommended to review the concepts and principles covered in the course EKS111 Statistics 1a.

Course Details

EKS112 is a 7 credits course offered in the first cycle (bachelor's level) and is included at the third semester of the Bachelor’s Programme in Business and Economics. It is not offered as a single subject course. EKS112 is a full time course, lectured in English.
