Kursöversikt
The purpose of this course is to familiarize you with applications of, and to some extent the theory behind, speech and dialogue technology. In particular, the course gives an introduction to spoken dialog systems, focusing in particular on iterative design-implementation-evaluation for the development of working dialog systems, steps including design of prompts, grammars, dialog structure, strategies for the detection and handling of errors, etc. The course makes use of existing standards in the area.
