Course overview

This course commences the Bachelor's Programme in Business and Economics. The course provides an overview of economics and business administration, the two main subjects of the programme. The first of the three topical days about sustainability, which will be provided successively during the programme, is also included in the course: Sustainability Day – Challenges.

Course details

EKFN11 is lectured in English. It is a full-time course of 2 credits which is offered in the first cycle (bachelor's level) and is included in the first semester of the Bachelor’s Programme in Business and Economics. It is not offered as a freestanding course.

Course registration in Ladok is open 18-27 August. Registration is required for all students. Please register for the course as soon as possible.

Course dates: 27 August – 29 August - these three days are voluntary but make it easier for you to pass the course and prepare for the rest of the semester. Official dates of the course are 1 September – 7 September.

The course objectives are assessed through an individual written examination, a self-correcting test, and participation in Sustainability Day – Challenges.
