This Phd course in Molecular Quantum Mechanics is based on the book with the same name by Atkins and Friedman. To enter this course, students are expected to be familiar with a basic course in quantum mechanics, of the kind often included in dedicated bachelor’s courses in physical chemistry. The course is based on prerecorded lectures, individual exercises, the hand in of exercises and peer reviewing of handed in exercises.

The course is built up in modules. Each module contains prerecorded lectures, recommended reading, recommended exercises/problems, and the hand in of a problem. There is a deadline associated with each hand in, and after you have handed in the problem (and the deadline has expired), you be given the task to correct the hand in of one of your fellow students. There is also a deadline associated with this correction task. The correction of your fellow students is the main examination moment of this course, and after this correction has been handed in, the next module of this course is unlocked for you.
