Curious about how data can be used to make predictions and uncover patterns? In STA 230 Statistical Learning, you will gain practical and theoretical tools to analyze complex data and build predictive models—skills that are highly in demand across research, industry, and public health.

Course period and registration

Throughout the course, you will explore modern statistical learning methods through lectures, hands-on exercises, and real-world applications. Detailed guidance and materials are available in the course modules.

Examination
The written digital examination (DISA) will take place on:
- Date: June 1, 2026
- Time: 13:00 – 17:00
- Location: University common examination hall at Reutersgatan 2C
- Registration deadline: May 23, 2026
You must register for the exam before the deadline in order to participate. Further practical information about examinations in the common exam halls is available here.
