Course syllabus


A warm welcome to the course titled EKR112 Commercial Law (12 credits) which runs from 18 November 2026 to 17 January 2027 (quarter 3+4). The course covers legal aspects of sales, transport, finance, insurance and insolvency. The course also discusses tax and international economic law.

 


General information 

EKR112 Commercial Law (12 credits) is included in the third semester of the Bachelor’s Programme in Business and Economics. It is also open to visiting exchange students. Course registration in Ladok opens on 11 November.

To participate in one of the lectures of the course please ensure that you have access to a stable internet connection.

 


Assessment

The learning outcomes on the course are assessed through the seminars, written examination and an essay examination. To pass the course a student must obtain 50% on each assessment component/module.
