Course syllabus
Overview
EKS112 Statistics 1b (7 credits) teaches the basics of how regression analysis can be used to analyse the relationships between two or more variables in order to describe, draw conclusions about causation, and make predictions. The course focuses on practically applicable skills, on practice through computer analysis of real data materials, and on understanding the limitations of statistical methods.
The course builds on basic statistical knowledge. Students are strongly recommended to review the concepts and principles covered in the course EKS111 Statistics 1a.

Course Details
EKS112 Statistics 1b (7 credits) is included in the third semester of the Bachelor’s Programme in Business and Economics. the course is also open to visiting exchange students.
Course dates: 31 August to 29 September (quarter 1). Course registration in Ladok opens on 24 August.
